Passing of Anita Roddick at 64
It is with great sadness that I found out online that Anita Roddick had passed away a few days ago.
Anita Roddick, the founder of the Body Shop was always passionate about so many worthy causes and had used her business empire of Body Shop stores to promote causes like ending animal testing and supporting the environment. She was truly a pioneer in turning ethical entrepreneurship into profits.

This is one of her favorite quotes which is displayed on the side of the Body Shop trucks in England.
`If you think you are too small to have an impact, try going to bed with a mosquito”
(Elmer-Dewitt, 1).
People often say “One person cannot make a difference.” Roddick, however, not only did not believe that, she proved it.
At 64, Roddick leaves a powerful legacy as a pioneer of the idea that ecological sustainability and vocal social activism can actually be good for business.
